Local Spotlight: Danger

Living on an island is pretty unique. With this uniqueness, comes a variety of shops that are truly one-of-a-kind. This month, we’ve selected Danger as our local spotlight. Danger is a specialty shop on the island offering an eclectic mix of art, locally made jewelry, home furnishings, cards, purses, and body products.

A destination shop on the beautiful Bainbridge Island, you’re sure to find something truly distinctive here — crafted with love by local artists! Aside from the distinctive collection of incredible finds, Danger works to have artists and a jewelry maker at the shop that you can actually talk to. This makes all guests not only feel warmly welcomed, but helps in finding the perfect gift or piece for yourself. This personal attention is an extra step of devotion to providing an experience for the customer that is simply invaluable!

Being able to support local businesses is always a plus — and when you have the opportunity to meet the artists behind the work? Even better! Jewelry in the shop is hand-crafted by Sara Baetz who is frequently at the store and ready to discuss her pieces and the thoughts behind the creations. The decorative art for both the home and garden? They’re made of course by local husband and wife team Myorian Studio.

There’s always something new to discover at Danger and let’s face it… who couldn’t use a little Danger in their life? Located in the heart of downtown Winslow, Danger is a short walk from the ferry terminal and has free parking out front along the street. They are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
