Local Spotlight: Eagle Harbor Book Co.

Life seems to be moving faster these days. Because of this sense of urgency to always be in a hurry, sometimes we miss out on connecting with those around us and our communities. For this reason, we’ve decided to highlight the Eagle Harbor Book Co. for our Local Spotlight. They are one of the many fabulous Bainbridge businesses that make our island unique.

For nearly 49 years, the Eagle Harbor Book Co. has been a staple in the Bainbridge community. A short ferry ride from Seattle, this store goes above and beyond the offering of a large selection of books. This locally-owned bookstore aims to connect readers with writers — and has been doing so since 1970!

Whether they are supporting local authors, hosting a story time, or having a craft-ernoon, Eagle Harbor Book Co. strives to provide a place where you can momentarily escape and immerse yourself in the world of literature. Attend readings with some of your favorite authors or celebrate youth in our community.
