The end is near...and not for what you think!

If you have visited Bainbridge Island in the last few months, you  may have noticed the mess on Winslow Way. Actually, it has been quite an inconvenience. I have felt so sorry for the downtown merchants who have had to deal with this on a daily basis. They have seen their sales drop dramatically because of the street repair. The question on everyone's mind is, how long will it last? I have started to see the light at the end of the tunnel once the sidewalks were poured.  So I am cautiously optimistic that it will not be long and we will be able to easily park and meander through downtown.
