How to Eat like an Islander

Another good reason to live on Bainbridge Island is to be able to frequent my favorite restaurant, Local Harvest. If you haven't had the opportunity to partake of this wonderful Pacific Northwest cuisine you have been missing out! To eat the food of Chef Daniel Miller is to practically rub elbows with Bob Hope, Lisa Marie Presley and Gloria Estefan - all of whom have been clients of Chef Daniel's. If that isn't enough to have you making reservations, then how about the feeling that you are helping save the planet? To quote the web site " The menu at Local Harvest changes as we seek the freshest ingredients available that are in season. Chef Daniel has a strong partnership with local farmers and fisherman to provide the best meats, fish, fruits, and vegetables for his dishes. Local Harvest’s goal is to deliver delicious cuisine to your table using a small carbon footprint."
