If you’re in need of a little retail therapy, look no further than Adorn! Adorn, the studio of jewelry designer Amy Margaret, is one of my favorites in the heart of Winslow!

The arts have always been a staple of our island community. From exceptional authors and skilled craftsmen to the renowned Bainbridge Island Museum of Arts, this is a piece of our community we treasure dearly. Each year, there is a Winter Studio Tour that showcases various artists around the island and it’s a wonderful way to support local artists, gather with the community, and so much more.

But like many things this year, the 36th annual Winter Studio Tour will be going virtual as they showcase nearly 40 fine artists from the Pacific Northwest.

This Month’s Local Spotlight happily brings us to a couple of wonderful new additions to the Bainbridge Island Community: Bainbridge Apothecary and Tea Shop.

Located on beautiful Bainbridge Island are two shops designed to bring health, wellness, and a sense of wonder. Bainbridge Apothecary and Tea Shop is your botanical home away from home - just steps from the ferry terminal in gorgeous near downtown Bainbridge.

One of the beautiful things about living on Bainbridge Island is being constantly surrounded by nature everywhere you go. Children who grow up on Bainbridge learn about marine biology during their Sunday morning strolls along the beach with their family. Friends meet up to kayak the waters and neighbors take to their local trails. Here, the beauty of nature can be found at a moment’s notice and adventuring outdoors is simply part of the lifestyle.
