November always brings a chill to the air that makes me crave the comfort of a steaming hot cup of tea.

Founders Joe and Andrea Raetzer, both passionate tea connoisseurs with savvy business skills opened their first Steepologie Teas store in April 2017 near Pike Place Market in Seattle. Since then, their stores have grown as more and more people discover the calming ritual of steeping loose leaf tea. In October 2020, Steepologie Teas opened a location on our very own island and the timing could not have been better. Still in the thick of the pandemic, we all needed a little bit of soothing, aromatic tea to soothe our senses.

Teas of all natures have healing benefits; from green tea to herbal tea to roobios tea and ever steady black teas. The list of options and flavors are endless and the benefits are incredible. Steepologie sells a huge variety of loose leaf teas (over 250 varieties) displayed on shelves accompanied by a sniffer jar so you know what you’re buying. Gift sets are available as well as teaware to round out the perfect gift. The staff is well educated in all of the varieties and offer help while giving you space to wander and explore.
