Local Spotlight: Helpline House & Project Backpack

Back to school is upon us, and for this month’s spotlight, we are highlighting the wonderful work of Helpline House Food Bank and Social Services of Bainbridge Island. Now through August 23th, Helpline House is collecting backpacks to distribute to local Pre-K through 12th graders preparing to attend an island public or private school.

 If you are able to help support Project Backpack, our Bainbridge Island Office will be collecting both small and large-sized backpacks. Simply stop by during business hours to drop off your donation.
