Local Spotlight: Hi Life Chopstick Stand

Bainbridge Island has a new poke spot and the timing could not be better!

Strategically situated right next to the ferry terminal lives our newest and most needed restaurant, Hi Life, serving a variety of poke bowls, hot dishes, appetizers, cocktails, and more. Walk up and grab some take-out for the ride to the city, sit at a table indoors when it’s raining or snag one of the picnic tables outside while watching the passersby and enjoy the most delicious and freshest poke bowl you’ve ever had.

While keeping with the theme of poke, the menu is still varied enough to appeal to everyone. Dishes like curry, bento boxes, edamame, and fresh salads are offered as well as a daily special. Thirsty? Get ready to make more decisions as they serve highballs, teas, boba drinks, and more. After a meal of spicy poke or complex curry, you often need a little something sweet. Hi Life has got you covered with their fruit sandwiches. You’ll have to try one as they’re too interesting and refreshing to pass up.

Every dish is made with the utmost care and attention to detail, making each meal look like a work of art. The colors, textures and placement of the food will delight your senses!

The varied menu is just right offering poke, bento boxes, curry, soup and appetizers.

Save room for dessert! Fruit Sandwiches aka Fruit Sandos are filled with whipped cream and fresh fruit.

This place truly is worth making a trip to the island for. I dare say it’s even worth missing a boat to Seattle for! And that’s saying a lot for us Bainbridge Islanders who live our lives by the ferry schedules. But if you want to ensure you make the ferry AND enjoy a meal from Hi Life then you can always order online.
