Local Spotlight: Lollipops Children’s Boutique
We are officially into the spring season. Soon the kiddos will be breaking out their rain gear and other clothes that have been in the closet for some time, and chances are there have been some growth spurts. In the spirit of new springtime swag—and the eco-friendly focus that Earth Day gives us each April—we are highlighting one of our favorite local shops for new and used children’s clothing: Lollipops Children’s Boutique! A Bainbridge Island staple for fifteen years, Lollipops is an upscale boutique that offers children’s clothes and other locally made goods.
The shop—located in downtown Winslow—always has a wonderful mix of options for kids of all age ranges. And you won’t want to miss out on an opportunity to meet Mojo, the adorable—and oh, so fluffy—shop bunny (pictured top right).
There is even a fun play area to keep kids entertained during the shopping trip. Lollipops also frequently works with local community members to host a range of events. On May 3rd, silhouette artist Karl Johnson will be creating hand-cut silhouette portraits at the store from 1 to 8pm. To stay up-to-date on all events, follow Lollipops on Facebook.
Whether you are a Bainbridge Island local or find yourself in downtown Winslow on a sunny Saturday, Lollipop’s Children’s Boutique is an excellent stop if the day calls for a new wardrobe.
