Bainbridge Island is Blooming for the Tour
Bainbridge in Bloom provides a unique opportunity to tour Bainbridge Islands most spectacular and inspiring gardens. It’s a great way to discover ideas for you own plantings or just enjoy the summer weather.
The 26th annual Bainbridge in Bloom garden tour is scheduled for Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July12, 2014 (9am – 5pm).
This fundraising event presented by The Arts & Humanities Council’s is one of the Northwest’s premier annual garden tours that visitors from across the US and Canada look forward to. All proceeds from the event benefits the Arts and Humanities programs.
This year’s tour will feature five exquisite, private gardens, beautifully distinct from each other but collectively underscoring the island’s standing as a national gardeners’ Eden. As per usual, there will be live music throughout the tour to enjoy.
Journey to the gardens by bike, car or arrange for a bus shuttle with Agate Pass Transportation.
Friday’s special Preview Day will be a quieter opportunity to take a self-paced tour of the garden sites if you can make it.
The tours on both Friday and Saturday will feature live music, master gardeners and helpful docents throughout the garden locations.
Due to popular demand the hours have been extended.
