July 4th Festivities!

Independence Day on Bainbridge Island is always a spectacular fanfare of events and fun.  This year marks the 46th annual Independence Day festival.  Events will include a Pancake Breakfast, all-day street fair, foot races (benefiting Bainbridge Youth Services), a Classic Car Show, Historic Baseball Game, Music, Food, Entertainment, a Beer Garden, and plenty of Family Fun - all capped off by the "Best Small Town Parade in America." The mile-long parade begins at 1 p.m. sharp!

For the little ones in your family there will be kids shows, pony rides, a bouncy house, Big Purple slide, miniature golf, the Kitsap Mounted Posse and much more.

Traditional Pancake Breakfast
7-11 am @ Town & Country parking lot

Get your day started right with a stack of pancakes and fuel up for a full day of activities.

Family Fun Run
7:30 am registration | Sponsored by Bainbridge Youth Services

Registration starts at 7:30am at Bainbridge Performing Arts (cnr of Winslow Way & Madison Ave). The 1-mile run begins at 9 am; the 5K begins at 9:15 am; and the Kids Dash begins at 10:30 am.

Stars & Strikes “Old Timers” baseball game
9 am @ Bainbridge Highschool baseball field

This fun Island tradition is in its 9th year. Baseball high school and Little League coaches and parents aged 25-55 play, with sponsor Bainbridge Bakers offering a delicious breakfast from their new green truck.

Classic & Electric Car Show
9 am–1 pm @ Parking lots behinds Columbia and Chase Banks

Over 100 cool cars to peruse while listening to music from DJ tunage.  $20 entry fee per car if you wish enter your own car.

Street Fair
9 am–5 pm @ Town & Country parking lot, Bjune & Brien Streets, and Waterfront Park

Enjoy live music; arts and crafts and information booths; a wide variety of food; a beer and wine garden; pony rides and more fun stuff for kids.

Bainbridge Island Photo Club Annual Exhibit
10 am–4 pm @ Waterfront Park Community Center

Bainbridge Island Photo Club members exhibit their best works for the year and invite the community to vote for their favorites.

Mr. Mario Comedy & Variety Show 
11 am–12 pm @ Waterfront Park

Beer & Wine Garden
11 am–5 pm @ Corner of Bjune & Shannon 

Live music with a dose of beer and/or wine, for those over 21 years of age.

Ranger & the Re-Arrangers/Gypsy Jazz Band
11 am–12:30 pm @ Town & Country parking lot stage

Home Town Band
12–1 pm @ Winslow Mall

Traditional John Philip Sousa-style music.

Alleyoop!
12 pm and 3-4pm@ Waterfront Park Stage

Parade
1–2:30 pm | Madison Avenue & Winslow Way

New for this year....Win $1,000 for the most Humorous Entry!  Parade applications are just $25 for non-profits and neighborhood groups; $35 for commercial enterprises and/or politicians. There is no cost for military units.
