Living On Bainbridge Island: Fun in the Fall!

Fall is one of my favorite times on Bainbridge Island. The air is crisp, the trees start to turn and we have several fun traditions to look forward to. One of my favorites is the obligatory trip to the Pumpkin Patch. This year (as usual) we headed to Day Road Farms. While now a large portion of the farm is dedicated to grape growing, there is still a large area devoted to pumpkins. On this sunny Saturday in October, the kids and I enjoyed the hunt for the perfect pumpkins! Both girls took tractor rides, hosted by a pirate with a hook for a hand! We scoured the fields and each picked our favorite. What a special day!
