Well I think Summer is officially over, but I am not sure any one has told the Bainbridge Island Weather. With highs near 80 last week, the weather couldn't have been more "un fall" like. But regardless of the uncharacteristic heat, September has always been my favorite month on Bainbridge Island. Back to routines, back to the sounds of school buses, school zones, and Saturday morning soccer. This year not only am I Realtor Kristi, I am Coach Kristi for my 5 year old' daughters
Bainbridge Island Parks and Rec Soccer Team. (shhh, don't tell anyone I've never played soccer competitively- only in PE classes!) What I love about Bainbridge is the community spirit we have. Even in the rain last Saturday morning, the soccer fields at Battle Point were packed with kids and parents. I am proud to report that both the LadyBugs and the Shooting Stars won their games.
September also means back to school of course. This has been especially sweet for me. Madeline is in Kindergarten at Blakely with Ms Colby. We are excited about her special year! Mallory started at
Hazel Creek Montessori and frankly, I wish I could go with her. Who wouldn't? Horseback Riding, Swimming, Art, Spanish and Nature Walks - I dare to say there is no other full day program in the country that could top this facility.
Finally, September has proven to be the end of a busy quarter in Real Estate on Bainbridge Island. We continue to be cautiously optimistic. My fellow office associates,
Ed and Maureen Buckley, and Jim Kennedy, recently attended the in
LuxuryRealEstate.com ConventionBachelor Gulch (Vail) at the Ritz Carlton. Our office was recently selected and approved by
LuxuryRealEstate.com as a member in their Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate. We are very proud and excited to have this honor.
Stayed Tuned for more as I am off to the Bainbridge Island Harvest Fair today to enter my prize zucchini.
